. Mixing Instructions Easy Method. Large Batch Instructions. 1. Combine 1 package (1½ lbs.) gravy mix with 1 quart (32 fl. oz.) water. Mix with a wire whisk until thoroughly blended. Set aside. 2. Bring 3 quarts (96 fl. oz.) water to a full rolling boil. 3. Pour gravy mixture into boiling water, stirring vigorously. Continue heating until mixture thickens, approximately 1 minute. Serve. Yield: 1 Gallon. Small Batch Instructions. 1. Combine 1½ cups gravy mix with 1 cup water. Mix with a wire whisk until thoroughly blended. Set aside. 2. Bring 3 cups of water to a full rolling boil. 3. Pour gravy mixture into boiling water, stirring vigorously. Continue heating until mixture thickens, approximately 1 minute. Serve. Yield: 1 Quart. Unused portion may be frozen for later use. For best results allow gravy to cool before freezing. Reheat gravy in microwave using Medium to Medium High setting, or allow gravy to thaw, then heat on stove over low heat.
